Friends of the Belarusian Children's Hospice

Friends of the Belarusian Children’s Hospice (UK) raises money to:

• Help fund the salaries of the 28 medical and support staff who run the first and the leading children’s hospice in Belarus
• Help maintain and improve BCH’s buildings
• Support BCH’s care at home and in-patient programmes for sick children and adults up to 24 years old and their families
• Support BCH’s  summer holiday complex in the Belarusian countryside
• Support BCH’s bereavement counselling service and training programmes for doctors and others working in palliative care
• Support BCH’s own fundraising activity within Belarus
• Actively participate in the BCH Advisory Council
• Help spread the successful BCH model of children’s palliative care to other countries in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe
