Pianist Andrew Wilson, tenor Neil Turner (pictured) and oboist Richard Whitehouse gave a lunchtime recital at St Pancras Church, London in aid of Friends of BCH. The programme contained works by Britten, Scarlatti, Purcell, Sammartini, Schubert, Ireland, Mendelssohn, J S Bach and Dring. It was a lovely, varied programme which was beautifully performed and delighted the audience. The recital was part of the weekly lunchtime series which takes place in this large and very attractive early 19th century church in the ancient parish of St Pancras.
Admission to the concerts is free and members of the audience are invited to make a donation to the performers. Andrew, Neil and Richard generously agreed that the £170 donated on the day should be given to Friends of the Belarusian Children's Hospice.
