Meet Our Trustees

Jane Curtis

Jane is very prominent in the UK pensions industry as Immediate Past President of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (having been the first female President) and following more than 25 years of service to the Actuarial Profession in a variety of roles including, in particular, education and professional regulation. She is much in demand as a public speaker and is particularly passionate about the importance of improving financial literacy as well as ethics and professionalism in the financial services industry.

Jane is well respected by her pension scheme trustee clients at Aon Hewitt, having advised a wide range of clients over her 30 year career and her portfolio currently contains some household names. Her no nonsense, pragmatic style of consulting seems to appeal to professional service firms as she has a number of city law firms and one of the big four accounting firms within her portfolio of clients.

She still finds time to support colleagues at Aon Hewitt in a variety of roles including coaching, mentoring and developing those with less experience as well as promoting the importance of professional standards.

Jane has been married to David for 30 years and they have two children, Michael and Emily. Nothing gives her greater pleasure than to spend time with her family particularly when it is on their favourite island of Corsica.
