HOW CAN I HELP?
Please do contact Friends of the Belarussian Children's Hospice (UK) if you would like to help us in any way. Supporters of Friends will be offered the chance to meet Hospice staff when they visit the UK, to join small groups visiting Belarus and will receive news updates on the Belarussian Children's Hospice.
Here are some ideas for helping us - we would be interested to hear of others.
Fundraising
- Sponsored events such as walks, cycle rides, fun runs etc.
- Ask your employer to match funds you raise for the charity
- Schools events such as mufti days, fetes etc.
- Local events such as coffee mornings, car boot sales, cake sales, stall at Christmas bazaar etc.
- Sponsor a child, a family, a nurse or doctor or buy an item needed by the Hospice (please contact Friends to discuss which of these is appropriate for you or your organisation)
- Can you put us in touch with a grant making trust that we might approach for funding?
- Do you know a company that trades with Belarus whom we could approach for sponsorship?
Other
- Can you help us train the Hospice staff and carers?
- Can you help us translate palliative care literature from English into Russian?
- Can you help us to design and publish fund-raising literature in English?

- Please make out a regular Standing Order Form to Friends of the Belarussian Children's Hospice (UK) - please print and post
- Please Gift Aid your donation on the Gift Aid Declaration - please print and post
- Please set up a direct Give As You Earn (GAYE) donation from your salary
- Please remember Friends of the Belarussian Children's Hospice (UK) in your will
